@macboy09 No, it can’t. Let’s face it folks. If it wasn’t for the Iphone, there wouldn’t be all these wannabe phones out…just face it. The iPhone’s been out for years and there’s no single phone out there of the many out that sells better or is more popular than the iPhone.
Me neither. I actually had more problems with Verizon than I have had with AT&T. I am glad I left Verizon for AT&T, I really do not like their childish ads because they cannot get the iphone. Keep on dreaming Verizon users.
Nice respond, but what they don’t tell you is, that you can only make calls and use data if you are connected to the 3G network…..if not it is the same like Verizon (call or data, not both)
But in fact, it isn’t a big deal, because if you browse the web with EDGE and get a call, the data connection will be disconnected and you get the call! I think it is the same with Verizon
I never thought apple would respond to Verizon ads when apple claimed competitors are still trying to catch up to the 1st Iphone. It seems like the Droid crushed more nerves than I thought. I wonder what’s next for Iphone as it is aging.
well the depends. If you are one edge, you will have less dropped calls. Also if you are in a very big city where network speed is congested, like New York, you will loose even more calls
The Droid can view emails regardless if you’re on a call or not. If the friend says if you got the email, mostly likely you did since your email is pushed to your phone.
As far as browsing the web, yeah you need to be on wifi on the Droid to browse then be on the call at the same time. Limitation of a CDMA network.
Though to play devil’s advocate, AT&T would have dropped your call way before you even fired up Safari.

The song is Submarine Symphonika by The Submarines.
This ad is smart! (it take a swipe on Verizon).
