Its only that; we have a iPod Touch, as well as keep thinking, “It would be so most simpler if all was in”.
So, is it legal?

I see it as being legal to unlock a phone, but wen u do u loose ur warranty on it!…as i-phone is locked to o2 there is no botherin in unlocking it, as u will not be able to do nythin to it, such as software update, dwnloadin music, as apple will soon detect this and bar ur phone so u mite aswell throw it away.
the £35 pm tarriff isnt that bad on o2 now….600 mins…500 texts and then the choice of 1 of the bolt ons. worth £7.50.
if u havent alredy just go into the o2 store and have a look at 1!!!
    =)

as long as you own it you can unlock any phone you like, but you can only get it with a contract from O2 who i would’nt touch with a lepers dick, so you could possibly unlock it but theres no point as you’ll still get charged for the duration of the contract

  3. Snot Me Says:

it’s apple that lock the phone it’s not a goverment rule so yes

  4. ifilmu Says:

it is NOT legal anywhere in the world to unlock a phone

  5. Dixon Says:

it is not against uk laws to have a mobile phone unlocked unless it is to evade a lawful imei bar due to the handset being reported lost or stolen and despite what is said about losing the warranty if it is unlocked this is not true. The only time a handset would lose a warranty if unlocked is if it was damaged as a result of this. Networks tell us the warranty will be null and void if unlocked but this is not true.

    nope.
