I don't think the iPhone prices will come down. Apple keep improving the tech and the actual prices of the individual iPhone components are quite high ( one of the differences between iPhone and clones is the higher quality apple chosen parts ). I have been wrong before, about a month after I picked up my iPhone... LOL. Good luck.
